A 5.2 magnitude earthquake struck off southern Mindanao at 3:44 p.m. Tuesday, the US Geological Survey said.
There were no immediate reports of damage or injury.
The undersea quake was located 170 kilometers east-southeast of General Santos City at a depth of 56 kilometers.
