Mindoro native is ‘Pinoy Big Brother’ teen big winner

MANILA, Philippines—Pola, Oriental Mindoro native Ejay Falcon was named the “Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition Plus Big Winner” Saturday at the Araneta Coliseum.

Falcon, 18, earned the highest mobile phone text votes in the ABS-CBN-Endemol reality TV show with 620,934 or 36.31% among all the votes cast. He had bested his fellow “Big Four” housemates Robi Domingo, Nicole Uysiuseng and Beauty Gonzalez in the final tally.

Domingo, a student at the Ateneo de Manila University, was a close second, garnering a total of 588,116 text votes or 34.39% of the total. Fil-Chinese Uysiuseng placed third, with 314,582 text votes or 18.39% of the total. Dumaguete-born Gonzalez rounded up the top four with 186,523 text votes or 10.91% of the total.

Falcon, who will join the roster of ABS-CBN talents, takes home the grand prize of P1 million, a business franchise and a house and lot, among others.

True-Blue Atenean" Robi Domingo of Quezon City was the Second Big Placer, while Nicole Uysiuseng, the 17-year-old Cebuana "In-Chick" and Beauty Gonzales, the 16-year-old "Rebellious Beauty" of Dumaguete were declared Third and Fourth Big Placers, respectively.

Falcon got 620,934 votes, or 36.21% of the public text votes; Domingo got 588,116 votes (34.39%); Uysiuseng got 314,582 votes (18.39%); and Gonzales got 186,523 votes (10.91%).Falcon will follow in the footsteps of teen star Kim Chiu, whose showbiz career got a headstart after winning the first edition of the hit reality show franchise.

Ten other housemates were also part of the second season: Alex Anselmuccio, 18, the Italian Valentino of Milan; Jieriel Papa, 16, the Bubbly Girl of Davao; Jolas Paguia, 18, the Gentle Giant of Davao; Marc Josef Elizalde, 16, the Lethal Lasallite; Kevin Flood, 18, the Spanish Stallion of Madrid; Linda Backlund, 16, the Bikini Babe of Iriga; Arnan "Nan" Clenuar, 17, the Junior Kengkoy of Davao; Priscilla Mae Navidad, 17, the Deaf Dreamer of Davao; Rona Marie Libby, 16, the The Prisoner's Daughter of Dumaguete; and Valerie Weignmann, 18, the Dazzling Doll of Germany.
