Mr. Norberto Manero, Jr. will be freed today from 24 years of imprisonment after he qualified for commutation of his sentence. This was disclosed by the Department of Justice yesterday.
Manero, leader of a vigilante group, was convicted in 1983 for the slaying of Fr. Tulio Favali, an Italian national, assigned in Tulunan, North Cotabato.
